Bed bugs are a serious problem and should be dealt with as soon as possible. Don’t let the size of these little creatures fool you because once you have one bed bug in your home, you can expect to have a colony of a thousand or more standing by to hear the message that their scout has found an abundant food source. The food source being your blood.
Bed bugs can literally overtake your home in a matter of days.
How does this happen you may ask? Well, the reproduction rate is out of control. Bed bugs reproduce rapidly which is why I said if you see one bedbug, there will be more on the way. Bed bugs are breeding and feeding machines and if they are not exterminated immediately, they will literally evict you from your home. Seriously, who wants to sleep in a bed full of bed bugs or any type of insect for that matter.
Sleeping with bed bugs crawling on your body overnight makes on cringe just thinking about it but that is the least of your worries. Once these bed bugs start feeding on your blood you can expect to see red bumps all over your body.
Then the itching starts. Ever have a mosquito bite that once you start itching it, the itching gets even worse? Well times that by a hundred because you will start to itch all over your body and you will think that you have the chicken pox.
Bedbugs do not seem to spread disease to people. But itching from the bites can be so bad that some people will scratch enough to cause breaks in the skin that get infected easily. The bites can also cause an allergic reaction in some people.
